General camera shortcut on kitkat update

    I downloaded the kitkat update last night and the camera shortcut on the lock screen does not work anyone else having this problem?

    You have to slide it up not just push it (my Husband had to show me that.. lol)

    By camera shortcut, do you mean the camera icon is now along the bottom of the screen where there are other shortcuts?
    I saw this was a new feature but, I already had my lockscreen shortcuts customized and included the camera so I'm not seeing anything different.
