Help Camera shortcut on lockscreen? SOLVED

I've found mention that it's possible to have a camera shortcut on the lock screen, but none of the suggestions work for me.

Double tapping the power button doesn't work, there's no option in the camera app itself and I can't even find the other places in settings that were suggested.

I've not tried to make any serious changes to the phone, it's all pretty much as it was out of the box.

I don't know of a built-in way to add a camera shortcut to the lock screen on recent versions of Android, but the double-tap of the power button should work.

Can you check at Settings > System > Gestures > Quickly open camera to be sure the option is enabled?
