Ok the Epic is getting headphones. But does the Epic have the puzzle lock scrren? FM radio? And does the music player have that cd juke box feel?

I can confirm that reviews show the puzzle lock screen is missing on the epic 4g. I can't find the videos to prove it, but the review phones seem to be missing it. I have heard that porting it over from another phone like the vibrant or captivate should be doable though.

From the BGR Q&A it seems that the phone is missing certain TW 3.0 features. It's running some type of hybrid 3.0 that doesn't include the puzzle pieces or media player. That's what I've read as of now. I'm far from an expert, or even someone who has held the device.

I am disapointed it doesn't have a FM radio or HDMI out.

It hasn't been determined yet whether it has the FM hardware or not. As for HDMI-out, it doesn't have that specific port per-se, but Samsung will be selling a hybrid type of cable that will plug into the micro-USB port and adapt to a HDMI output on the other end. So in essence, it will have HDMI-out. The only problem is that said cable is gonna be $50. :/

HDMI was never even a point of speculation. That's been a definite no since the first time I read anything about this device.

they have micro-usb to hdmi cables... so you'll get hdmi out.

Then any phone could do it. It just was never speculated to be an official feature of the phone so I don't know how someone could be disappointed that it doesn't have it to the point that it's nearly a dealbreaker.

I agree. If it does HDMI out.. then fine. If it doesn't, thats fine too haha.. not going to pass up the phone simply because it doesn't have HDMI lol, it has tv out via the headphone jack. Which, IMO, is much better than simply only doing movies via HDMI.

edit* forgot to add its better than hdmi because you see everything from your phone on your tv. Games, music, pictures, internet, etc.

I don't think just any phone with micro-USB has the capability of doing "HDMI out" through it, but the EPIC can.
