Root Can anyone help me with clockworkmod and 2.2 OTA.

I am trying to install the .2.2 update.zip file on my droid, but every time I go through the process I get an error code and it says installation aborted prompt. If anyone could help me out here so that I can go through with the 2.2 installation, or even point a way to walk me through the process, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

are you rooted? if not, you need to be to use rom manager. if you are rooted, download rom manager and look areound in the download roms section. sever 2.2 options in there. if you need more help, we need more info from you, ie.... current root status, current rom, etc...

Have you tried downloading the file again? I've had installation aborted problems a few times for other ROMs when the download file was corrupt.

if you are trying to do the stock update I dont think it works from clockworkmod. If it did you would have to be on a plain ESE81 rom
