Root Can anyone help me?

I just rooted last night with the one click root thing, blah blah blah

flashed evileris4.0 and everything is working great

however, my up time and awake are the exact same and it is killing my battery life

does anyone know how to fix this?

Perhaps try the Airplane trick. Plug in your phone, select airplane mode, wait a few minutes, unplug phone, undo airplane mode. Maybe that will work. Give it a try.

Have you configured your apps, GPS, weather etc, to update in the background?

Also, have you overclocked the CPU? That won't cause uptime anomalies but it can contribute to battery drain if over done a bit and especially if no "sleep" profile is enabled with a low setting such as 245, etc.
