Hey everyone, new poster here! Forgive me if there's already a few threads about this, but I was wondering if there's anyone who can recommend me a few smartphones? Something relatively small with MP3/music capability (with plenty of memory) and internet browsing.

Any response would be greatly appreciated!

Relatively small? I'd go with the HTC Desire S and a nice big micro SD card (don't buy from ebay!).
If you can handle the increased size then an HTC Sensation or Samsung Galaxy S2 are both cracking phones, the samsung is much thinner and lighter but the Sensation is much tougher. The galaxy S2 comes with a 16Gb memory and a micro SD slot so you could in theory add a 32Gb card and have (just less than) 48Gb of memory to play with.

Go to a phone shop and give them all a fondle :D

For a noob i'd say just pick the phone you like. For the most part they all function the same.

Practically any Android phone can do what you like. However bear in mind that for a touch phone, small screens can be an issue, as it may be deterrent to useability, making the touch keys too small for some. So for example, The smallest I'd go to is a 3.2 incher, but some people would be fine with 3.0 or 2.8 inch screens. Since you're after the most basic functionality, you should go ahead to a store and try to see which phone feels most comfortable for you.

Bear in mind though that the smaller the phone, generally the weaker the specs, and thus the less you can do with it.
