My service provider is evil and sold me my d320n hard locked to only accept their sim. Any way I can remove the restriction so I can put an unlock code in :p. Can repair shops do that?

If you're on Metro PCS, just ask for them to unlock it.
I'm guessing you have the phone paid for.
Even then, you have to have Metro service for three months before they'll unlock it.
Reason is, the phone is sold below value vs the postpaid, so, they can recoup the subsidy & at minimum, break even.

Google is your friend for getting an
unlock code that'll work with the Device Unlock app, but, it's not free, probably more than you're willing to pay, considering the cost of the phone.

The most painful less/less expensive path to unlock this phone is just meet Metro's
service terms & get the unlock free.

    EDIT:

Upon further review, I see this is not a MetroPCS phone, so, the above definitely doesn't apply.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance, but, I'd imagine once the phone is paid for, you should be able to get it SIM unlocked.

Ok thanks, my provider couldnt unlock the device even though they hard locked it, meaning it is unable to input any unlock codes.

I think flashing an international kdz for your model would solve the issue. Or at least a kdz that is not sim locked. I believe sim lock may be a modified modem from experiences i've had with other devices (never had a locked LG L70). I had a Galaxy S4 that would relock by upgrading the modem and was unlocked by restoring the old modem back. I've also done an mmc full backup with dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/sdcard/mmc.img before doing something drastic. I've even writed the mmc.img from one device to another (same model) in hopes of restoring lost imei. You can do that before flashing a kdz if you are afraid that it wont work, then you could restore back your phone to the current state from that img. This is all empiric but I hope it helps. Would be nice to know if you find a solution.

The thing is when I flash the UK kdz, the hard lock remains and it still lists as the nz v10c firmware, not the v10e firmware. It also sets the language to English NZ automaticly. Any way I can force the uk versionversion to flash correctly. I used ces flash on lg flash tool 2014

You've already posted your message in various threads, started this thread and got your answers.
This subforum is for LG L70 only but when it comes to screen lock, there's no way to bypass it. Factory reset your device if it's really your phone and you've forgotten the pattern.
