Can I create a new contact folder?

I need a contact folder with just the construction companies that I call. Adding them to my primary contact list adds too much clutter. Is it possible to have two contact folders?

Use the Groups function to assign contacts to a group, then in the contacts app select the group you want displayed. Or, create a folder on a home screen and put contact shortcuts in there. You can have many such folders.

I could never understand why PC contacts showed everything by group but with the droid version, you had to do all that de-selecting to filter out one group. Then I discovered Groupy, a third-party solution. A little goofy, a little dated, but does exactly what Google forgot.

The other option is to create a Microsoft (Hotmail/Live.com/ Outlook.com) email account and put the second group of contacts there, or I think you could even do that with a second Gmail account. Then you can go into your settings and choose to view one set of contacts or the other.
