I have a fully rooted Optimus M. -- it works well, EXCEPT that I can't get one app to run. Is there a way to go back to an unrooted phone and then back again to a rooted phone?

I have done a nand backup.

    Thank you,
    Pete

And I "restore" back via nand and go back to be rooted, or do I have to do all those steps again to root that I did the first time?

    Could you explain the order?

Do I flash a new rom over what I have now (rooted, stock rom)?

Then can I go unrooted via the new rom?

Sorry to sound like a dumbass, just trying to do it right.

    Thanks,
    Pete

if your already rooted with joneidy custom recovery you can flash the sense or gingerlike rom by placing the rom zip on your sd card then boot into recovery by turning off phone hold down home and volume down buttons and power on phone hold buttons tell recovery starts then you wanna wipe all user data then go to flash zip menu click toggle signature verify then click flash zip from sdcard find the rom zip you placed and click on it to flash you will still be rooted also you should backup all your apps so you can put them back on your phone.
