can I stop music in certain directories fromshowing in music player?

just a thought,
I find it kinda annoying that recordings made the voice recorder app show up in the music player.
I'd like to have only my music play when I set it to shuffle.
I have all my music in a folder called music. can I limit the music player to search in that folder only?

Couldn't find anything with the stock music player but I was trying out other players and found mixzing lite that lets you select what folders you want to include.
