Can i unlock my Vodafone Sensation ?

    could do with being able to use my orange sim card on the phone aswell ?

    is there a way to unlock it ?

    will rooting unlock the phone ? if so how do i root ?

    i am a noob when it comes to rooting so go easy :D

    you telling me that these launch phones are already simlocked to voda? i'm surprised that voda aren't sending out unlocked phones.. at least for the next few weeks.

    have you actually tried putting an orange sim in there? are there any voda apps on the phone?

    They're not SIM locked, just branded

    And chances of rooting the Sensation are slim to none

    what do you mean by branded? i just signed up to voda... will i have voda crapware on the phone?

    Why is this so? Because the locked bootloader?
    It is locked not encrypted like the Motorola, your desire had a locked bootloader!

    Schoolboy error, yeh the phone isnt locked, i just pressumed it would be.

    Is there a way to get rid of all this vodafone shite off it ?

    not yet there isn't!

    therewill almost definitely be a way to root in about a month or 2, i'm willing to bet on it.

    no technology has EVER been unhackable, i don't see why a random HTC phone should be the first ever unhackable device in the history of mankind, despite all the naysayers saying you can't root etc.

    ....buuuuuuuut rooting can void warranty is the only downside, (although i managed to unroot my desire and then send it off for repair with no problems: I don't think HTC really even check.)

    I can confirm the handset is unlocked as I am using it on AT&T...
