Root Can I unroot my htc wildfire s

    I want to un-root the phone and take off the s-off and take off the clockworkmod recovery.Is there a way to do it?

    Re-flash the ROM using a stock HTC RUU, but that won't change S-OFF.

    I downloaded this:RUU_Marvel_Virgin_Mobile_1.37.351.1_Radio_47.10.35.3029H_7.46.35.08_release_188032_signed.exe
    I dont know if this is the correct file, But if it is how would I install it?

    I don't know where you got it from, but if it's the right ROM you can use the procedures found in this guide to install it:
    [GUIDE]How to update HTC Wildfire S/Marvel/A510e/GSM to Software Version 2.3.5

    Make sure you do a nandroid backup first. It looks to me like that ROM is for Marvel (GSM) not Marvelc (CDMA) and if I remember correctly, your phone is CDMA.

    My phone is a cdma but I dont know for sure if the software I downloded is right.

    I just read this post by simonsimons34 over at xda:
    So my idea of reflashing your ROM won't work and you should not try the ROM you downloaded.
