If so, which version (carrier) should I buy, or does it matter?

Btw... Does anyone know if Boost Mobile will be selling iPad's anytime soon? They recently started selling iPhones.

Boost mobile uses sprints cdma network therefore they do not use sim cards.

Thanks. Hopefully they'll have their own iPad solution soon.

Sprint and Boost (and Verizon) do use SIM cards for 4G (an example), but I doubt it would work if you put one into an iPad air.
