Support Can I use another SIM CARD??

    Hi!! i'm from Venezuela and here we can't use the Verizon wireless data plan.

    There is another way to put another sim card from another telephone operator??

    Thx!!

    i have the xoom only with wifi :-( buyed on Amazon.com

    Verizon uses CDMA not GSM so there is no SIM card to swap out. It might be possible to use the Xoom on a different CDMA network, but finding one of those in Venezuela might be difficult.

    It would probably be better to get a cell phone with a data plan on your GSM provider's network and then share the data connection with the Xoom using bluetooth or WIFI.

    The XOOM wifi doesn't connect to a phone service, so it doesn't matter whether you have Verizon or everyone else... or what kind of SIM you stick in there, it just won't work on a carrier's service. Only wifi... that's why they call it "wifi only".
