If it fits it'll work, but ti may not charge the same. It may or may not have the same output as the stock charger.

I agree with Phatninja55. It would be best to compare the output of your Sammy charger with the Chacha. It's most likely fine but a bit of research could save you some grief.

Have a look at the Samsung charger, the specs should be written on it.
If you see something like "Output 5V/1A" (or a bigger figure as 1A, like 1.2A or even 2A) then you can use the charger for your HTC phone.
