Root Can I use these roms in 2.3.3 Gingerbread LG Optimus M?

I have tried to find some information on this topic, but have had no luck. My Optimus M has Cyanogen 2.3.3 rom on it, and I would like to try either this:

the question is, everything I read is about "2.2.2" and "2.2.1" and see no mention on anything 2.3.x

I just need to know if I can install the above roms safely or if I need to do something special to do it.

There's nothing special to do, just make sure you have custom recovery installed, either CWM or whatever the name of the other recovery is. Link me with the recovery you have please, because there is an outdated one.....

I have the very very old Recovery from back in 2011 when the phone was just starting to get modded if I remember right. If I look at my recovery information, it says the following:

Build: Custom Recovery 2.2.1 Joneidy

Just install it the same way you installed the other one and you'll be set, this recovery works with all the optimus roms and I mean ALL, no need to downgrade to 2.2.1 or 2.2 or upgrade to 2.2.2

Yes, also CWM works if u use rom manager....it will see the phone as the optimus c, but it's the same recovery I use.

Thank you very much for your responses!
I followed the method above that I linked earlier and phone went into fastboot mode, just managed to get it out of fastboot and installing a Rom currently, hopefully everything will be back to normal after this
