Root Can make phone calls

My moms prevail can no longer make phone calls, but she can receive calls, her prevail is rooted just so you guys know. Can you guys help me?

It might not be the phone. Boost is working on towers to get LTE. I had the same problem and bought a new phone. Problem continues, but I am told that in my area it should be fixed by the end of the month. I really only have problems inside my house and it started about a month ago.
