1. Are you ready for the Galaxy S20? Here is everything we know so far!

Can Navifree maps be installed to sd card on Galaxy S2 ?

    Hi

    Is this possible ?

I've just installed the UK maps & got no option as to where it installed - went straight to phone memory as far as I can see.

    1. Download the Forums for Android™ app!

I believe it's on the ext card. It's in Android/data.

    You're correct Sir !

    Thanks

PS My Files app seems to only look in the SD card - is it possible to examine contents of in-built phone storage from the phone itself ?

There should be an "up one level" or something like that. Otherwise try File Expert or FX Explorer or ES File Explorer.

Hmm, actually I was incorrect - the maps install to the internal phone "sd" card & not the external.

Can't see a way of changing this behaviour either :(

Odd, mine installed: /sdcard/data/com.navfree.android.osm.USA/files/userdata/maps/$com.map.osm.utx/map_osm_6.1.0.112/utx/map_osm_6.0.0.112/texas.44.ydb (150mb)... but I guess that is really internal on my Galaxy Player.

    I think so.

"sdcard" in my file explorer is the internal phone memory/storage.

"ext sdcard" I assume is the external microSD card...
