Hi. I'm a bit lost with this one. I can still get email from my google account, and contacts and calendar still sync fine with my laptops programs. I can still access the android markets. But when I try and add either a new google account or an existing one it seems to time out and say there is no connection.

I also can't get proper access to maps or trapster. When I enter an address for directions it just comes up with getting driving directions for a while and then that there is no data connection. But I can access websites at the same time no issues. This is happening over a data connection and also via wifi.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas?

OK, bit more searching, here and elsewhere, found others with a similar problem having to hard reset to fix it. So I'm guessing this is what I have to do?

Backed up with Titanium backup, so if I hard reset can I just re-root, install Ti again and restore and hopefully be close to back up and running? Just asking to see if I'm on the right track?
