Root Can not change carrier name

This is what my service carrier looks like because i deleted phone.apk to get rid of the annoying activation message that appears every time i boot

This is where I put the eri.xml file from my pc to my sd card

Then I have moved it to this data and the data inside of this data

nothing

Note that the eri file is not in any of these caps because i do not want something that will not work on my pc or phone

plz help
