Root Can reboots be monitored?

Is it possible to run an app that monitors when your phone reboots?

I've seen several people mention how various ROMs cause occasional/continual reboots for them, but I had never witnessed my phone rebooting on it's own... until today. Now I'm curious to know if my phone reboots when I'm not aware of it. I hate to think that the ROM I'm running is causing harm or problems for my phone that I'm not even aware of.

^^^That's probably your best bet. I don't know of any bootlogging utilities out there.

If you can't keep track of your boot times, an easy way to check is to check running processes. Freshly booted, less running processes should be present when compared to a longer runtime after running a few different apps.

Even easier would be to long-tap the home button and observe the tasks in the switcher, same basic idea as my other suggestion.

Obviously, using a task-killing utility could complicate these observations.
