Can somebody write a good app for keyboard background light ?

    It absolutely impossible to use keyboard when it's dark. Light stays on for a few seconds, and it's gone . WTF ?

    There is one for rooted phones not sure about non rooted.

    Maybe someone will get the Droid rooted soon.

    There's like three apps there you have to download. I did all of them, but they don't work. :(

    yep this is why I do not use the keyboard at night!!!!!!! fix this please moto. or Android.
    you should be able to adjust this in the settings somewhere. That was one thing MS got right. i could adjust my time in winmo.

    When I put my phone in "automatic brightness" mode, the keyboard always stays lit in low light. Try it.

    Tried it and that does work, but I don't like mine in auto mode. I suppose if I want to use the keyboard, i could put it in that though.

    Auto Brightness on mine too, never been in a situation when I could not see the keys no matter the ambient lighting. When it is dark they are always lit up.
