Can The Snap Out Menu Be Re-Configured?

I'm one of the few people that actually likes the stock snap out menu,
and was wondering if there's any way to re-configure it to
work with the other apps that I have installed.
(without rooting)

I'd like Gmail to launch when "email" is pressed rather than that junk default mail.
I'd like Handcent to launch when "messaging" is pressed.
Not to sure how I feel about Nuance yet,
but I'm sure you guys get the point of what I'd like to do. ;)

Did you figure it out yet? I don't use it because I use mobile shell, but when the menu is out there is an icon that when pressed gives you the ability to grab stuff and move it to the trash. Then there is a plus sign when pressed that allows you to go to your apps(icons) and install them. gmail icon is one of those or any other as well. Works well. No need to be rooted. Did you read the manual? LOL!

I actually just stumbled upon that function about an hour ago when
I was getting rid of Nuance.
It made me feel like an ass when I saw that's all it took.
I just figured that if you couldn't even remove garbage apps from the
device without rooting, this might be an issue too.

To answer your question though,
Nope...the manual hasn't even been opened.
I know it sounds backwards, but I just don't learn that way.
Never have.

That problem is solved now, only 1 more to go:
I'm still looking for an app that will make my contact's pictures larger in both
the main contact list and in the favorites list.
Anyone know of one?

I want to be able to retain the black background
and stock layout if possible.

Just want bigger pictures to scroll through.
