My phone fell in toilet. Seems to be working fine after trying to dry it with fans.
I can't unlock the phone without plugging it into the charger. The screen lock/ phone on/off button doesn't work at all.

Will I be able to fix this and is there anything I can do right now while at work?

You want to dry it more thoroughly than that. I'd recommend a couple of days in a jar of dessicant (uncooked rice works) to draw any moisture out before powering it on. Otherwise residual moisture may do further damage when the power is turned on.

If you are lucky it's just that button that is damaged, in which case it's fixable (if you are really lucky further drying might fix it, but I'd not count on it). But moisture damage is insidious, so it's also possible that other things will fail later.
