Like the title says.... can we?
Is there an app for that?
BTW, I LOVE your logo! Going to the boston game Sunday!
^^ Awesome !
Back to my original question.
I'm assuming that we can't adb push to /system/fonts or can we ?
Absolutely you can... Just remember to "measure twice and cut once"!
It is very risky to do this since we can not make backups.
ahhh, but with the leak of the SBF, it is no longer risky!!!
Yeah, that was the next thread I saw
I just finished fiddling with this. The way I did it was with the Type Fresh app.
[APP] Type Fresh - change your fonts! - xda-developers
You also need to get the andexplorer app, as he mentions in the link above. All you do is adb push the font you want to use to /sdcard/Fonts. Once it's there, you can open the Type Fresh app on your phone and press the font you want to change, DroidSans is the one used for a majority of everything, and it will let you select what font you want to "replace" it with. BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL FONTS THOUGH. This app has a feature to do that. I backed up before I even put other fonts on the sd. From what I understand, there is a risk due to some fonts not playing well with some other things. Do this at your own risk. Neither I nor openback are responsible if you brick your device. Thank goodness there is now a fix for that anyway. Thanks to openback for the sweet app.
Below is a shot of the Android font I am using. I also have a Harry Potter font (sorry, kind of a dork) for my messaging.
