Can we upgrade android 2.3 to 3.0

    Hey guys
    I am just about to buy the nexus s and i was just wondering can the gingerbread os be upgraded to honeycomb os for this phone or am i forever stuck with the 2.3

    It won't upgrade to 3.0. That's specifically for tablets. Although in the future we will get ice cream which will be 2.4 and whatever version after that. Especially when they combine the version for phones and tablets.

    Nexus phones always get updates first and directly from google so you don't have to wait around for your carrier to send out the ota.

    There is a 3.0 Custom ROM, but nothing really works on it yet. Like B2L said, the Nexus S will be updated to 2.4 when that comes out (or 2.3.4 or the like when the time calls for it).

    all I want to do is get the Netflix app to work on google android tablet 2.2 OS anyone help me I went through amazon apps it downloaded but won't play the movie can anyone help? thanks

    I was thinking that perhaps if you tried asking in the Tablet section or the Android Apps Section. :) They should be more able to help.
