    Hi All,

I'm planning to upgrade my T-mobile Samsung Vibrant (unlocked) version to Android 2.2.

    1. Can I use i9000XXJP2 Firmware for this device?

    2. Can some please help on what all things need to backup?
    3. If anything goes wrong with upgrade then how can I revert back to the original settings? :(
    4. What are the benifits of upgrading to Android 2.2?

    Please help?

    Regards,

    Nikhil

    I wouldn't try it.

For the benefits look at the video below. The only benefit you really won't gain is the first one, the CPU performance boost. The Hummingbird seems to not be able to fully utilize the power behind the JIT compiler.
