can you save folders and move from alt home to home?

mykd99....no one ever responded...but I did figure out
just drag from screen to screen...the trick is holding the folder or icon in question. If you want to move a folder to the screen to the right....touch and hold the folder on the left most edge. Now move to to the right as far as you can and hold it so it is half off the screen.
The page will jump and you will have your folder on it.

But that's not moving a folder from Open Home to the stock Home app? All you're doing is moving from desktop to desktop ... a totally different question.

This is one of the most annoying things, for me, about the Droid...
I did find a way to back up home screen settings/icons, etc. (though it doesn't do widgets so well) - called MyBackup Pro...it will put everything back on your home screen, but widgets usually show up as blocks that say "problem loading widget" so you have to re-set them up on the screen (but at least you can see where they were).
Works well w/the 2.01 home screen (the one modded to five screens), haven't used it w/3rd party home screens.

Just another reason to move to Sweeter Home. If not today, someday when the editing is more stable and, dare I say, "easier" for some folks. I can hop from theme to theme, config to config, in less than a minute. nice.
