    Hi all,

I was wondering if it's possible to be using the phone with the charger plugged in (either ac or USB) and with the battery taken out? Just a random curiosity, I saw a few old forums saying both yes and no. Wondering if anyone here has done it.
    Thanks :)

No. You need a battery in it to be able to use it.

A tool used to install ROMs. But yes, it is funny how you can enter download mode but not the full phone.
