My phone is set to arrive tuesday, very excited.

I was curious if i am able to upload full length movies that i download on my computer, onto the phone or SD card for viewing.

I work in an ambulance... lot of down time. If i can watch full length movies during my day this would be the greatest phone of all time.

I would also suggest using Rock Player. It is a nice movie watching app.

The sales guy at Verizon showed me Rock Player on his X and I was really impressed. I'll be grabbing that when my X gets here on Monday.

IMO rock player is the same quality as the stock player on the X.

Rock player and ACT 1 isn't about quality. They play a multitude of video formats that the stock player doesn't.

I use ACT 1 and it plays almost everything I throw at it. I also have Rock player just in case.

Stock gallery plays avi as long as its the right codec. RockPlayer plays higher quality avi files like xvid and divx. Problem is Motorola uses a private method to send contents to Droid X's HDMI and they didn't publish the interface to developers so you can't watch high quality avi's on your tv.
