I renewed my contact to 2 years when the x came out. I love the phone but sprint is a better deal for me. Is it possible to came my contact with vzw without a fee? I am an existing customer.

Im just trying to budget my money better. I can save a lot if I had sprint with my employee discount

Sure, you can break your contract, for $350.

There is no "free out" unless certain extreme conditions are met, and I expect none of those to apply.

Since he upgraded to the Droid X, he's obviosuly still within the WFG period. While he might get socked with a restocking fee, the ETF is a non-issue.

This is what I thought but I was wondering if that is only for first time customers or if it applies to people renewing their contracts too.

You're right.. I completely missed that it was a Droid X.

    Good eye!

I called and the rep said it falls under the 30 day guarantee. So all I would have to pay is the restocking fees.
