Root Cannot change boot screen

    I cannot change my boot screen because i cannot find my system file. when i open the media folder all i see is audio, nothing else

    Your bootanimation.zip goes straight in the media folder, not in any subfolder.

    Are you on the stock version? or some other ROM?

    if your talking about "boot logo" (the first "M" that pops up on boot) you have to put phone into download mode, plug into computer, and replace "splash.img" with another "slash.img"

    ps... there is a thread to where you can make your own splash.img :D

    (cannot just put jpeg or png in there! it has to be in the img format)

    I am on stock, but a video i watched said i had to remove the old bootanimation and i cannot find the other one

    there is no other bootanimation.zip you just need root superuser access and just paste your bootanimation.zip file into your system/media folder with root explorer and reboot the phone and you should see your new boot animation after the splash screen logo
