So my SD card stopped working and I couldn't use it anymore, since I didn't have it anymore the ringtone was set to default again, when I tried to change it (downloading from dropbox) I could browse for it, and select it, but it wouldn't appear in the ringtone list avaible to use, then I got a new SD card, put the ringtone in it, and yet, when I browse, find and select the ringtone, it isn't in the list.

Use a file manager like Total Commander. Find th Ringtone folder. Put the ringtone in there.

Or make an mp3 folder in the SD card. Put a Rinftone folder in there and ut your ringtones i there.

The phone is supposed to scan for media (including ringtones) when you turn it on. It shouldn't matter where they are, but putting them in a folder with a name that makes sense to you makes it easier for you. (The phone doesn't care if the folder is named BloodNGuts.)

The problem is not finding the file, the problem is that after I find and select it, it doesn't appear in the list.
