My phone is a lg tribute 2 and i have this error message when i open my camera. It either black screens or says cannot connect to camera. This has happened before and i have forced stopped, restarted my phone, and pulled battery, and factory reset it. And that worked but now the problem has came back. What can i do to fix this issue without having to buy a new phone if that is possible? And how can i prevent it from happening again. My phone is not rooted either.

If factory resetting, pulling the battery, etc, doesn't fix it at all now. Is the phone still under warranty?

Could be the camera module has died..Unless you can find a cost effective repairer who can do it for you, you might indeed be buying a new phone.

I'll loom into a finding a affordable repair or buying a new one, thanks for the advice.
