Hello all, I am new to this forum so be patient with me. Below is the issue I am having. Thank you

I have a Galaxy S3 an added an Outlook account so I could receive my work email on it. Once I got it set up I found out that I would have to enter a passcode to get out of the lock screen. I do not want to do that so I deleted that account (went under setting to account and deleted it). After doing that I still have to enter the password. I have shut down my phone, went into lock screen settings and cannot figure out how to remove the password protection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Change it to swipe instead of password.

I was able to fix the lock screen issue. I went into setting- lock screen and then went to lock screen options. I put in an new passcode and then closed out that screen. Low and behold no more prompt for a password. I have no idea why that worked nor do I care.
