Hey guys I used the adb to get to the screen on my phone where it allows me to unlock my bootloader. I clicked yes and it still shows up as s on on my hboot screen. I'm trying to root so I need s off. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks

Unlocking your bootloader and rooting isn't the same as getting s-off. That's a whole different process.

I am aware. But you must unlock your bootloader which is s off, in order to root

Unlocking your bootloader is not s-off.

But what are you trying to do?

Just unlock the bootloader?

Follow instructions @ htcdev.com

#EDIT#

I see, you've unlocked your bootloader, you want root?

Just find and flash custom recovery, then flash root from inside recovery.

If you want s-off

Okay well here's whats up. I unlocked my bootloader at HTC dev. I read somewhere that now, on my hboot screen it should say s off... That could be bad information though. I am basically trying to root. But on my phone while using command prompts my phone doesn't respond. I had to manually turn my phone onto the hboot screen to get the block code for the HTC dev site. Is there a way to get my phone to respond to the computer better? I am not really sure why it isn't working. My debugging is good, drivers installed, yet it still not able to communicate with the pc

What version Windows are you using?
