I used to be able to dowload photos with Microsoft Photo Gallery, using it's Import. That got flakey and eventually I couldn't, and this was before the KitKat update.
So then I used drag & drop.
But now when I plug it into my PC with the USB cable it shows up in My Computer but I can't view any of the files that are on it.
Using Airdroid works but it's a faff compared to simply using Import.
