Root Cant add shortcuts to home screen cm7.1

I don't know what I did but now when I try to long press on my home screen to add apps/widgets nothing happens. Same happens when I try to click on an app or widget to delete it, I long press and it just vibrates and nothing happens. I'm sure I must have clicked something by accident.

Also, do I have to do a full wipe when flashing nightlies?

try wiping dalvik cache and cache and reboot.

i believe that nightlies you can just wipe dalvik cache and cache and flash it.
