Support Can't add words to Google keyboard while typing on my galaxy s5

    My Google keyboard doesn't seem to have an option to add words to the dictionary as i type. If i type a new word and backspace there is no option to add that word to the dictionary i even uninstalled it and reinstalled it and they didn't help. anyone knows what I'm missing
    I'm using a galaxy s5 att

    Hi,
    This option is in google keyboard in settings.
    Go to settings>language&input tap on.
    Scroll down to personal dictionary.
    Add words and save.

    Go to settings >storage>cached data>clear cached data.
    Settings>storage>apps>Google keyboard>force stop>clear cache>clear data>uninstall updates.
    Open google play store menu my apps and games>update google keyboard.
    Settings>account>google.
    Select syncing.
    Reboot /restart device.
