Root Can't boot into xrecovery after installing gingerfast

HI

I had gingerxperia installed on my x8 but after about a week it started getting laggy as hell so I thought I'd give gingerfast a try

Backed up the gingerxperia with xrecovery, did a factory wipe in xrecovery then used xrecovery to install gingerfast, reported a successful install so I hit reboot

Twenty minutes later it was still at the initial sony ericsson screen so I thought it hadn't worked but no problem I'd just go into xrecovery and restore gingerxperia

However I can't get into xrecovery (presing the back button doesn't bring up xrecovery) or cm recovery (can't remember the button press sequence for cmr)

ANy suggestions on how I can get the phone to boot?

i have the same problem but i install miniCm and did a factory wipe in xrecovery then used xrecovery to install miniCm , reported a successful install so I hit reboot
how can I get into xrecovery???

How u fix that coz i have a same problem like u ?but have bit different my android stuck at logo screen bcoz i want to chance font n restart stuck at that logo
