Hello all: I am in a Soft-brick position.
    FACTS-
    HTC M9 TMOBILE
    S-ON
    Unlocked bootloader
    Not rooted.
    I can get to download-bootloader-recovery(TWRP 2.87).
It appears my OS is 2.11.531.19- I flashed a RUU from T-Mobile.
I can move around adb no problem.
If I boot to System I will stay stuck at HTC logo. I then get out and go back to Recovery-download, etc
When I have tried to flash a ROM I get this error below
target reported max download size of 800000000 bytes
    sending 'zip' (87456 KB)...
    OKAY [ 5.573s]
    writing 'zip'...
    (bootloader) HOSD CL#591203
FAILED (remote: 9: SD_SECURITY_FAIL zip from usb command in download mode)

    Here is my getvar data:

    (bootloader) kernel: lk
    (bootloader) product: htc_himaul
    (bootloader) version: 1.0
    (bootloader) imei: ++++++++++++++++++++
    (bootloader) version-main: 2.11.531.19
    (bootloader) boot-mode: download
    (bootloader) version-baseband: 01.01_U11440601_86.09.50731G_F
    (bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
    (bootloader) mid: 0PJA12000
    (bootloader) cid: T-MOB010

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Thanks for your anticipated replies.

    Hello,
Have you tried the SD method?
You download original ROM zip file, rename it to 0PJAIMG.zip, put it on your formated FAT SD card, put SD in the phone, boot in download mode, you're all set.
    Best Regards

Another way would be to use this command on your terminal to pass it to internal memory.

    . \ adb push 0PJAIMG.zip / sdcard /

You can't flash an RUU.zip or a firmware.zip from internal storage. It NEEDS to be on your extSD

Well I've got same issue as you did. Downloaded ruu file, renamed it and got it into SD storage. When i try to run it it happens: [IMG] http://ibb.co/cnu2DH Phone is Locked with S-ON anyone know how to fix it?
