i recently got a new dinc (within the last week) and it worked fine for a while but then suddenly stopped being able to call or text. i get the cause code: 1 and error class: 3 when i try sending a text, and when i start a call i hear an automated voice telling me that my the authentication for my phone has failed. i've tried reprogramming it a few times using *288 option 1, which fixes the problem for a few hours, but then it stops working again. does anyone know a fix or why this happens?

i haven't called verizon yet, but i'm planning to go to a verizon store tomorrow. so you're thinking there's something wrong with the phone itself?

for some reason your phone is either coming up cloned on their system and its disabling it. It could also be a ESN the system has flagged. you need to call verizon have them go into the system and turn off the flag for your phone telling it its OK if that doesn't work or they cannot then you need a new phone. If it was a sim card phone just a new sim card would solve it.
