Nah (saw your post on that), using the packaged charger. It does it while charging or not.

It's the stock HTC weather widget (small icon version), taskiller did this, and another icon that I can't think of at the moment does it. All three just open on long press without the option to move, delete, etc. I haven't seen any way through the settings or other menus to remove apps/widgets/icons from a list format.

I've done that, no change. The only thing I haven't done is factory reset, which I am reluctant to do except as a last resort.

Try disabling Sense and re enabling it ( trying to save you a hard reset).

Contact HTC directly and see if they have any advice.

you can try going to setting and go to applications-manage applications and you will see all your apps and will be able to uninstall them.

Hmm... maybe I'll give that a shot? I hadn't considered uninstalling the factory HTC apps like weather, and I think the other is the Market.

Try to correct it by changing your SCENE... chose to not save it and use another then switch back... :) you might lose any other changes made but can start over. Idk... just a suggestion, give it a whirl...

How do you uninstall in this menu. I have tried this but can't figure it out, there are some factory installed apps. I don't need.

Weird. My phone kept getting borked up because of the LockBot Pro I tried, and after I uninstalled it I was finally able to delete these icons/widgets. They were giving me problems long before I installed LockBot, so I know it wasn't that apps fault. But somehow in the process of uninstalling it, whatever conflict or error that was occurring finally shook itself loose.

Very weird. But very happy now that I have a few more spots to put the things I actually want!
