Hi, I'm trying to download apps for my SGS2 using kies but whenever I go to the Samsung apps I get a message that there is no compatible apps for my phone...so is there something wrong or there is really no compatible apps for the s2 there?

Not entirely sure what your saying here.
If you want to install apps to your phone, use "Market"
The point of Kies is to allow you to transfer/sync things between your phone and PC and to allow you to update firmware etc.

if you want samsung apps, then use the samsung app on the phone itself.

Have you registered yourself with a Samsung account?
Are you sure you selected the correct country when you connected to the store via kies

You cannot download or install apps from samsung kies. Those are meant for their wave phones operating on Bada OS. I think there is an issue with android/google and samsung regarding copyrights or something like that.

Use market, or Samsung apps from the phone to get your apps.

    Cheers
