Help Can't fast forward in music player?

Is there a way to fast forward/rewind in the music player? I only see the next/previous track buttons and the time slider. Looking for something a bit more fine grained than the time slider.

Did you try holding down the FF/RWD buttons? This is usually the standard in all music players.

timeline, long hold the indicator of where it's in the song, slide.

Just tried it, works great. Actually this is in google music, don't even know if there's a "stock" music app installed, lol.

Album artwork is on the lock screen, too, yay!

Google Music is the stock player. Go give PowerAmp and PlayerPro a try.

I did try holding the buttons down to no effect. Draging thue time slider is fine for songs but sucks for podcasts as it jumps by minutes at a time with content that is an hour plus long. Looks like the stock player is only intended to be used for songs.
