Cant fast fowerd or resume podcast

So i am having problems with podcasts i can't fast fowerd them or resume song as it will just jump back to the begining again. I still get this problem when i download the podcast and play it on the LG player. I also getvthis problem on other music apps. I was told that the device doesn't support the file encoding and that could be the reason. Just wanted other peoples input on this.

Probably not quite the answer you were looking for... But I use Pocketcasts, which is an awesome podcast player and manages to play nearly anything I throw at it.
