    Hello friends,

I want to install a game on my unrooted samsung galaxy note 2 which runs android version 4.1.2. The game file needs to be placed in the obb folder under sdcard>android>data>obb but i cant find obb folder anywhere on sdcard or internal storage. i badly need this game on my phone. The game i have downloaded came zipped with .apk and additional sdcard data files. I already installed the .apk but I cant find the obb folder where the game data files needs to be placed for the game to work. I already ensured that the game is compatible on unrooted android 4.1.2.. How should i get this work on my phone?

It would be much easier if you downloaded this game from the play store. It automatically stores the obb data in the correct folder.

Otherwise if this is a paid game that your trying to pirate, that's very much frowned upon.

Thanks Dragonslayer95 for your quick response..is there any other alternative through which i can install the game without play store. As you said above play automatically stores the obb data in the correct folder so is it possible to locate obb folder or it simply doesn't exist ?

You could try the Amazon app store if they have the same app?

Is there a reason you can't download from the play store?

If you start side loading apps, you need to be really careful doing that.

One wrong apk or file could bring maleware to your device.

Stick to Google play or Amazon store to be safe :)

    Btw welcome to Android Forums!
