Can't get Update 2 for 2.1

hi, i have an unbranded HTC hero on an orange contract. my firmware version is "2.1-update 1" which i receive many weeks ago, my software number is 3.32.405.1. i still cannot find update 2 when i search for it. i know that update 2 should be available now yet i still cant seem to find it?

2.1 -update 1 is the latest version of the firmware.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick regarding this. There were 2 updates: the first one was an 'invisible' update that was essentially a preliminary installation to prepare your phone for the second update - which is the one you have. The 'update 1' thing is just a red herring.

Yes, it doesn't make much sense does it?

Your build number starts with a 3, which means you're on 2.1

1.X.X.X = Old 1.5
2.73.X.X. = Updated 1.5 (and 1.5 that has received part one of the update).
3.X.X.X = 2.1

ah so i've already received all the updates required? Was just confused because i hadn't lost any data in any of the updates. thank you very muchh

Yeah, the OTA updates all preserve your data. Which is odd; the old firmware updates always wiped your phone clean.
