So now the OTA 2.3 update is here. I had rooted with Z4 and backed up with bootstrap. once I saw the update was here, I unrooted and tried to update...failed. ok, uninstalled bootstrap (because the clockwork recovery came up every time I rebooted)...fail. factory reset phone and tried to update again...fail. And even though I did a Factory reset, I still get the clockwork mod recovery screen every time I reboot, which I think is interrupting my update.

How do I get rid of that thing and get my gingerbread?

If you have messed with the initial Froyo install, you need to SBF to restore your handset back to it's original state.

Oh yeah... I was afraid that would be the case. But where am I going to find the original SBF?
