Help Cant install apk on htc one x

Ive tried downloading two different .apk files, ive changed the setting to let me install apps from uknown sources but when i go on astro and select the app to install it, it takes me to the screen with permissions but it wont let me press install,i can press cancel which is next to it, but it wont install. any ideas?

What apks are we talking about? Generally, it's best to install via legitimate sources such as Play, GetJar or the Amazon App Store.

What's the issue with using any of the above?

I too had this problem and it was caused by an installed application conflict. Mine was caused by the app "screen adjuster" once I un installed the app I was able to install apks again. Hope that helps.

Its the app apk itself. Doesn't install on my phone either.
